Let start by saying that like most folks I've wanted to start this blog for quite a while now. For a little over a year now actually. I've made attempts before but but none have been about what I plan to write about here. About my journey towards being a dad. The URL I chose for the blog is actually my son's name Zane Philip Cherian. I really didn't know that I could love anyone as much as I love him and even talking about it makes me a little misty eyed. Gretchen (my lovely wife and Zane's mom) and I have been quite blessed with Zane and every day is a joy when its means we get to spend time with him.
I think this is a decent start for a first post. I've got an outline for what I want this blog to be about but I'm also going to play it by ear and improvise as we go along. Wish me luck.
